Optimizing Technology-Based Learning to Enhance Creative, Innovative, and Modern Education Towards Indonesia's Golden Generation

Technology-based learning has become an essential requirement for improving the quality of physical education learning in the digital era. The main problems faced by partners included limited teacher skills in finding digital learning resources, creating creative teaching materials, and distributing learning materials online. This activity aimed to optimize the use of technology in physical education learning by improving teachers’ capacity to find, develop, and distribute innovative and accessible digital teaching materials. The participants consisted of 23 teachers from the Junior High School Physical Education Teachers Association (MGMP PJOK) of Jayapura Regency. The implementation method included five stages: socialization, training, technology implementation, mentoring and evaluation, and program sustainability. The results showed that all participants completed the entire program with a participation rate of 100%. Based on pre-test and post-test results, teachers’ competencies significantly improved, with theoretical understanding increasing by 91% and practical skills increasing by 96% in creating and sharing digital teaching materials. This activity enhanced teachers’ digital literacy in utilizing technology as a learning medium. Teachers became more capable of finding relevant learning resources, developing engaging digital materials, and sharing them through online platforms, making learning more flexible, interactive, and accessible for students. In addition, the activity encouraged the development of a digital material-sharing culture within the MGMP PJOK SMP Kabupaten Jayapura environment.
