Abstract

The quality of teaching of Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing (BTQ) in TPA still faces challenges in the form of low teacher competence and monotonous learning methods. This results in students' difficulties in understanding abstract concepts and low learning motivation. This study aims to improve the professionalism of TPA teachers through a special BTQ training workshop in Majene city and describe the effectiveness of the practice of using simple interactive teaching aids such as: flash cards, hijaiyyah rotating wheels, mad boards and hand puppets from socks as methodological solutions. This study uses a participant participation method in the activity. Significant improvements in the skills of making simple interactive game tools prove that the main obstacles of TPA teachers (limited funds and facilities) can be overcome. This training successfully achieved its goal, namely improving the practical skills of TPA Majene teachers in implementing the concept of edutainment through the creation and use of simple interactive teaching aids.
