Abstract

Community economic empowerment has become a strategic priority for achieving inclusive and sustainable development, particularly amid rapid digital transformation. Microenterprises increasingly rely on digital technologies to improve productivity, expand market access, and strengthen business resilience, while Islamic financial literacy enhances entrepreneurs' ability to make ethical and Sharīʿah-compliant financial decisions. This study examines the role of microenterprise digitalization and Islamic financial literacy and proposes an integrated framework for building sustainable digital business ecosystems through Islamic Economic Law principles. The study employs a literature review method using a multidisciplinary approach that integrates economic, technological, legal, and community development perspectives. The findings indicate that digital transformation enhances business competitiveness, operational efficiency, and financial inclusion, while Islamic financial literacy strengthens responsible financial behavior and the utilization of Sharīʿah-compliant financial services. The proposed framework comprises three interrelated dimensions: (1) microenterprise digitalization as a driver of technological capability, (2) Islamic financial literacy as the foundation for responsible financial decision-making, and (3) Islamic Economic Law as the normative framework promoting justice (ʿadl), public welfare (maṣlaḥah), transparency (shafāfiyyah), trustworthiness (amānah), and the protection of wealth (ḥifẓ al-māl). The integration of these dimensions provides a multidisciplinary model for strengthening community economic resilience, promoting ethical digital governance, and supporting sustainable digital business ecosystems aligned with the objectives of maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah.
